Process for Honey Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Cranberries
Now, getting back to our easy ‘Honey Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Cranberries’ which is one recipe that I’ve been making every year for more than a decade.
“If you are pressed for time, you can even use frozen chopped sweet-potatoes in this recipe”
We start by peeling and chopping (small size) a sweet potato.
Then we saute it butter along with McCormick® Ginger & McCormick® Cinnamon and some salt.
Once the sweet potatoes are cooked, we add the fresh orange juice (optional), frozen cranberries and give everything a quick stir.
Then let this mixture cook for 2-3 minutes and then add the roasted nuts, honey and mix everything.
Once everything is mixed and roasted together for another 3 minutes, turn off the heat.
Transfer the Honey Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Cranberries to a serving bowl or you can even serve it in the same skillet in which it’s cooked.
Add it to your Holiday feast menu and enjoy with friend and family. As mentioned above, this recipe works great as a side or warm salad.
I found ALL the required McCormick® Spices in the Spices Aisle of Walmart (as shown below).
