Tropical Acai Berry Bowl: Take your smoothie love to next level with these super easy and extremely delicious smoothie bowls that are packed with tropical flavors in every bite.
There’s nothing better than waking up to a delicious breakfast with loved ones and this Tropical Acai Berry Bowl has been winning our hearts and soul these days.
It not only looks gorgeous but absolutely extremely easy to make …. literally takes 6 minutes to make 2 bowls.
I got into a habit of having Acai bowls for breakfast while traveling and have tried some really amazing versions but till few months back, I had never tried making them at home.
But that all changed recently when I discovered Sambozon. They provide organic, fair trade, hand-harvested açaí and is the first to bring them to the United States.
They have lots of products and we tried the:
‘Sambazon Açaí Supergreens Superfruit Packs’
‘Sambazon Açaí Performance Protein Superfruit Packs’
Once i got these products from them, there was no stopping us and after trying a various combination of fruits/veggies, this Tropical Acai Berry Bowl became our number one choice for quick and super yum breakfast.
It’s like starting your day in a tropical paradise tasting every bit of the berry-acai flavors in this bowl.
Now, for this particular bowl, I’m using Sambazan Açaí Performance Protein Superfruit Packs, which are pre-portioned and come in this easy to use pouches.
Each pouch contains a mix of acai + protein + strawberry flavors and gives you 1.4 servings of fruits & veggies, no sugar added, an excellent source of vitamin A and a good source of fiber.
Once you are ready to make your smoothie, just run some hot water over the frozen pouch and add the content in a blender along with your choice of base.
I’m using a mix of coconut yogurt + pineapple juice, along with some fresh fruits + nuts.
And that’s it, your Tropical Acai Berry Bowl is ready.
Just pour it in a serving bowl and decorate with desired fruits/nuts or whatever topping you like… the possibilities are endless!
Since we were having this as a weekend breakfast, I decided to add some mango flowers on top along with some edible dried roses and chocolate chunks.
Who says you can’t have it all as with this Tropical Acai Berry Bowl, you have the best of both (Deliciousness & Good For You Food).

- 2 Pouch Sambazon Açaí Supergreens Superfruit Packs
- 1 Cup Mixed Fresh Berries
- 1/2 Cup Coconut Yogurt
- 1/2 Cup Pineapple Juice
- 1 Mango - cleaned, peeled and thinly sliced (use a peeler to slice)
- Few Dried Edible Roses
- 3-4 Pices of Chocolate
- Roasted Nuts/Seeds
- In a blender, add all the smoothie ingredients and blend to form a thick smoothie.
- Transfer to a bowl.
- Now, take a thinly sliced mango and roll to form a rose.
- Similarly roll all the thinly sliced mango and arrange on smoothie bowl.
- Add dried edible roses and sprinkle chocolate + nuts/seeds.
- Serve Immediately.
