Hi Everyone, Hope you had a great Father’s Day yesterday and I’m back with these fabulous Firecracker Sausage Kebabs recipe that’s perfect for your upcoming July 4th BBQ parties.

Since the beginning of June, we have been attending so many BBQ’s and the next one is at our place.

So I decided to make these Firecracker kebabs which has this sweet-spicy taste along with beautifully grilled vegetables and sausages.

Firecracker Sausage Kebabs recipe

Now, have you heard of ‘Firecracker’ sauce or recipe? It’s basically a combination of sweet-spicy flavor and usually made with a peppery sauce as background.

However, I like to twist the recipe a little and use my favorite ‘Kikkoman® Soy and Kikkoman®Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce’ in it.

I’ve been cooking with both of these sauces for ages now and the flavor is absolutely amazing.

KikkomanUSA® is not just Asian sauces and marinades – it’s more mainstream and versatile, perfect for summer holiday grilling occasions and day-to-day grilling recipes for weeknights.

Hence, I always have their sauces and marinades in my kitchen pantry for a quick – flavorful meals.

Now, I’m making a big batch of these Firecracker Sausage Kebabs .

I needed a little extra sauce, so decided to make a quick trip to our local Walmart to buy all the recipe ingredients along with July 4th decorations.

Seriously, nothing like an easy recipe where all the ingredients are found under one roof.

The sauce is available in the Asian aisle and rest of the recipe ingredients were available in fresh produce and sausage in the meat section.

(Pictures Below – Quick glimpse of our ingredients, ready to be grilled kebabs and addition of extra sauce on grilled skewers).

how to make the Firecracker Sausage Kebabs

Getting back to our quick Quick and Flavorful Firecracker Sausage Kebabs recipe, it’s so simple to make and theirs, not any lengthy steps involved, however, for further convenience:

I’m dividing it into 3 main steps:

First: we prepare the marinade (mix all the ingredients at once).

Second: Place marinade, veggies, sausage in a container/bag and refrigerate for 15 mins.

Third:  simply assembling the kebabs in a skewer and grilling over medium heat for 10 mins. That’s it 🙂 our kebabs are done and ready to Serve.

Along with the Quick and Flavorful Firecracker Sausage Kebabs recipe, I’m also serving these:

Easy Sun-Dried Tomato and Spinach Pesto Pinwheels

 Watermelon – Mint – Chia Popsicles (V-GF)

and few more recipes and I’m not worried about dessert as my dear friends have offered to get that 🙂

So, I’m all set to party and watch the firecracker show along with friends and family.

So, go ahead, quickly grab these Kikkoman® sauces from your nearest Walmart and get those grill started. Here are some more details about the sauces:

Kikkoman’s® Traditionally Brewed Soy Sauce is a major flavor enhancer and brings out the “umami” taste, and also helps balance and round out flavors

Kikkoman® Less Sodium Soy Sauce and Kikkoman® Less Sodium Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce are perfect for those home cooks who are looking to cut down on their sodium levels, without sacrificing flavor

The following content is intended for readers who are 21 or older. #Chardonnation  #NotableSummer Asparagus and Ricotta Tarts: Absolutely delicious and flaky tarts that are topped with a creamy mix of ricotta, cheese and lemon along with tender asparagus. Baked to golden perfection, they make an excellent party snack or just a quick nosh. They are extremely easy to make and can be prepped a night before. This recipe makes 8 large tarts. This ” Asparagus and Ricotta Tarts “ is my favorite way of eating asparagus and pair it with a chilled wine for that perfect summer party snack. I’m so excited to share this easy peasy recipe with you’ll today and it seriously is extremely easy to make. I actually made them yesterday for an evening ‘Wine+Snack’ get-together with our new neighbor. We have actually interacted a couple of times in past 2 months but never got a chance to invite them over until yesterday.  During our random conversations on the streets, we came to know that they love wine and music and I was even more excited to have them over as we love wine+music too (Yessss, I’m so excited cause they are a really friendly couple and our age). So, I decided to make these “Asparagus and Ricotta Tarts ” and a cheese platter too. While I was shopping for the ingredients at my local store, I came across these Notable Wines and they highlight the wine’s flavor profile on the front label using musical notes as visual tasting cues which I found to be really helpful when choosing a wine. They have two different flavors: * Oaky & Buttery Chardonnay: a full-bodied Chardonnay, with the flavor notes of Butter, Oak, and Vanilla.  * Fruity & Crisp Chardonnay: crisp, zesty Chardonnay, with vibrant flavors of Citrus, Melon, and Peach. Since we love both these flavors, so we bought both the wines along with the cheese platter ingredients like cheese, olives, nuts, and fruits (no meat as they are vegetarians). Now, the fun part, preparing these gorgeous golden tarts and all you need is a thawed puff pastry roll, fresh asparagus, ricotta, cheese, eggs. These are the major ingredients and you can add additional flavors like herbs, lemons, different cheese and even meats. I’m not adding lemon as the wine already has a citrus flavor and these buttery flaky tarts would go perfectly with them. We actually had the most fun assembling the cheese platter as it was a mix of ‘D’ and my favorite things to nibble. Here’s what we added (you can mix and match as per your likes) Cheeses: Swiss cheese, American cheddar, French Mimolette & Comte, Feta, Nuts: Almonds, Pistachio Fruits: Blueberry, Cherry, Tomato Olives, Chocolates, and Crackers We actually made the cheese platter 5 minutes before our neighbors arrived as I wanted the cheese to stay as cold as possible till then. The ” Asparagus and Ricotta Tarts “ took 20 minutes to make and the wines were already chilled….we were actually ready for the get-together in 30 minutes (Wooohooo! Thankfully the house was clean 😉 The evening was a lot of fun and we discussed a lot about music, theater and turns out we’ll are going for a local music-in-the-park night soon. So, I’m really glad we did this impromptu meetup as it’s always so good to know your neighbors and actually be able to bond with them. We are definitely looking doing more of such get-together.Both these Notable Wines were a huge hit too and we have decided to stock more of them on our next store visit. I highly recommend you to give them a try and you can even find them on Facebook & Instagram. Notable is also the 1st wine that highlights the flavor profiles on the front of the bottle, helping make the wine aisle a less confusing place 🙂                                     Here’s a quick glimpse of our tarts before they went into the oven. My husband would absolutely love these. He is a big fan of kabobs and of smoked sausage. He was just asking me last week if I would get some for grilling. This would be a delicious way to serve them!
