Christmas is around the corner and many of us are looking for easy yet flavorful side recipes and this ‘Air Fryer String Green Beans Chicken’ is one such option.
It’s crispy, sweet-spicy, and absolutely easy to make for small to big gatherings.
Air Fryer String Green Beans Chicken Ingredients:
String Green Beans – washed, dry, and cut the top off both ends.
Boneless Chicken – chopped into small pieces
Seasoning – salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili flakes
Sauce – soy sauce, chili sauce, honey, and ketchup
Olive Oil – any light oil you like
Quick Air Fryer String Beans – Chicken Method:
I’ve divided the method into 3 easy parts:
Part 1: Cook the Beans
We start by mixing the seasoning + olive oil with beans.
Then transfer the beans to the air fryer and set it at 330F for 15 minutes.
Start the air fryer and let the beans cook for 7 minutes.
Remove the basket and toss the beans nicely.
Place the air-fryer basket back in the fryer and cook for the remaining time.
After 15 minutes, transfer the beans to a clean bowl and keep them aside.
Part 2: Cook the Chicken
Start by adding seasoning, olive oil, and sauce to the chicken and mix everything.
Place a foil underneath the fryer basket.
Add the seasoned chicken in the air fryer basket and start at 330F for 15 minutes.
Cook for 7 minutes, remove the air fryer basket.
Toss the chicken using a fork/wooden spoon/spatula.
Place the fryer back and cook the chicken till the remaining time.
After 15 minutes, check for doneness or cook for 5-7 more minutes.
Part 3: Cook the Green Beans – Chicken Together:
Now that both string beans and chicken are cooked, we just need to mix them together and cook for 5 more minutes.
In the same air fryer basket, mix cooked beans, chicken, seasoning, sauce, and toss everything.
Cook for another 5-7 minutes.
Turn off the air fryer and transfer the cooked beans+chicken to a serving dish.
I looove this recipe as it’s super easy and an absolute party favorite at our place.
Goes with most meals like any kind of American/ Europian/ Asian or Mediterranian food.

Ingredients

Instructions

Start the air fryer and let the beans cook for 7 minutes.
