Boozy Bourbon Brownies

Boozy Bourbon Brownies

With Valentine’s 2 weeks away, I was actually looking up restaurants for dinner or brunch but then I realized it’s Friday and Oh Thank You but I’m not stepping out.

With Friday It’s always so crazy busy everywhere and Valentines falling on a Friday is BAT Crazy!!!

So, the dinner/brunch plans are canceled and instead I’m planning a ‘Cozy Meal for Two‘ and ofcourse we have candlelights + music 😉

While I still plan the main course, I’m the kind of girl who has drinks+desserts planned already.

How to Make Boozy Chocolate Bourbon Brownies

The recipe is very easy to follow and I’m further dividing it into two major steps:

Mixing the Dry Ingredients: where we whisk flour, chocolate powder, baking powder, and salt together.

Dry Ingredients: mix vegetable oil, butter, melted chocolate chips, sugar and eggs into a smooth batter.

Then slowly mix the dry ingredients into wet ingredients and whisk till the batter is smooth and nicely incorporated (making sure no lumps are there).

Transfer the brownies batter to an oiled pan and bake for 25 minutes at 350F.

Once baked, transfer to the cooling place.

Slice and the brownie are ready to be served.

Using a Brownie Mix:

Make the brownie batter as per instructions and add bourbon before the final whisking process.

Then transfer to the baking tin and bake as per package instructions.

Once baked, cool slightly and enjoy.

Toppings Option:

I love serving or devouring them as is, however you can add fresh berries, whipped cream or chocolate/caramel glaze.

You can also serve it with french vanilla ice-cream

You can also drizzle it with more bourbon if need be.
