Quick Chocolate Candy Cane Popcorn – Perfect Movie Night

Quick Chocolate Candy Cane Popcorn – Perfect Movie Night: Bite into this delicious blend of sweet-salty and crunchy goodness that makes any family movie night a great hit.

Chocolate Candy Cane Popcorn

Family Movie Nights is our favorite Friday or Saturday night activity

And it’s absolutely incomplete without our Quick Chocolate Candy Cane Popcorn – Perfect Movie Night snack (read 2-3 buckets full as it’s that addicting).

The last few weeks have been so busy with the beginning of the festive season, family in town, work and so many other things that we haven’t been able to spend any time together as a family.

Our family movie time is something that just not only help us unwind but also bond together even more as a family.

Quick Chocolate Candy Cane Popcorn - Perfect Movie Night

Finally, last Friday night we kept everything aside and decided to have a fun family movie night with cousins in town, some close friends and lots and lots of food.

Our menu was mostly finger foods and of course popcorn – I don’t think you could ever and I mean ever think of movies without popcorn!

So, we had to make these ‘Quick Chocolate Candy Cane Popcorn using Pop Secret popcorn which we bought from Walmart and they have a whole new 10+2 ct packaging.

Since it’s a movie night popcorn, we choose the ‘Movie Theater Butter’ variety from the Pop Secret popcorn and they are ready in the microwave within 2 minutes.

Seriously, a delicious treat cannot get easier than this – 2 minutes microwave popcorn + your favorite festive toppings = Win for All !

Once the popcorn was ready, we decided to top it with white chocolate, milk chocolate, candy cane bark, pecans, some crunchy or wafer filled chocolate bars (chopped) and tons of funfetti.

By the time our first batch was ready, we already received requests for 2nd n 3rd round.

They taste fabulous – imagine a buttery salty popcorn, mixed with sweet, crunchy bits. We actually made 6 bags of popcorn along with other savory finger food.

The best part was that the Quick Chocolate Candy Cane Popcorn was not only a hit with us adults but they were a total Winner with the kids.

I have not seen them eating something so fast and quickly without the parents asking to do so.
