So this weekend, we did just that and had these gorgeous and delectable Decoy Wines, which are crafted from one of the finest American wine producers.

We got both the 2015 Decoy Sonoma County Merlot and 2017 Decoy California Rosé  and decided to go with the Merlot for this evening.

 

First Must Have : As many of you might have already guessed, ‘No Gadgets’ is my first and foremost must-have for an evening with loved ones.

I mean we are there to spend time with each other and that 1 social update or email or message or world news can wait.

 

Second Must Have: ‘Keep the food simple and a mix of both of your likings’ for this evening, I went with super light and mostly finger food as we really wanted to enjoy the wine along with some fresh cheese.

This 2015 Merlot from Decoy Wines has a lush layer of black cherry, cassis, and cranberry, along with notes of cocoa and leather.

So we decided to pair it with some blue cheese and chocolate that brings out it’s velvety red berry flavor even much more.

I’m literally in love with the rich colors both the wine has and with so many varieties at remarkable pricing, they can easily be termed as ‘Everyday wine for the well informed’.

 

Third Must Have: I like to jazz-up the setting for our in-house date or even meet-up with family/friends.

Just bring out those cute/fancy cushions or use those glasses/cutlery that you got on your wedding or as a gift.

Just by adding that extra touch, you start feeling special and the whole ambiance gets you into this relaxed mood.
