Watermelon Lemon Spritzer with melon balls on a steel stray

Okay, I seriously don’t know where to begin with about this Best Watermelon Lemon Spritzer with Melon Balls !

Should we talk about the gorgeous hue of colors it has or should we talk taste first !!

Literally, we were speechless for few minutes and kept admiring this beauty that we just made.

Summer has finally begun and so has the need for keeping properly hydrated and I love infusing my summer drinks or even plain water with fruits.

It not only adds such pretty colors but also tastes so much better.

So, the first thing after breakfast that we have started doing is making infused water/sparkler for the entire day.

Trust me, it makes life so much easier and tastier too….cause there are days when things are so piled up with work n home, that this infused drink is a life saver.

Especially in summers, because of all that work n stress, I literally forget to drink water.

While we were shopping for our weekly list of things, we stopped over at Walmart to pick up some stuff and while browsing aisles, I came across this NEW DASANI® Sparkling Slim Cans (12oz, 8-Pack):

Lime

Berry

Black Cherry

Lemon and

Tropical Pineapple

Since we both love lemon flavored drinks, the decision was quick 🙂

We bought 2 packs of it as we know that it’s a trusted brand in regular water so should be a trusted brand in sparkling too.

quick Watermelon Lemon Spritzer recipe

Since we already had a huge watermelon at home, this drink was bound to happen + it was really hot!

So we quickly scooped some melon balls and froze them for 15 minutes while we juiced about a cup of watermelon cubes.

As soon as you have these 2 things ready, the drink is just 2 minutes away :

Simply pour everything into a big pitcher

Stir and enjoy a healthier – sparkly yet flavorful drink.

This is what I call a great ‘Me/US Time’ where we just relaxed with a fun fizzy drink in our patio, chatting endlessly about random stuff, while watching a gorgeous sunset .

Simply Relaxing from the chaos of our daily life !!

This look so good, Molly! I love the idea of the frozen melon balls. How do you juice watermelon???

    • Molly Kumar June 16, 2016 (5:41 pm)

Thanks Kylee. I just peeled and blended the watermelon to make fresh juice at home.

Would love one of these tonight. The other day I made a watermelon and sweet melon infused water but couldn’t find my melon baller. I ended up using a strawberry corer instead and the balls were much smaller but so much cuter 🙂

    • Molly Kumar June 16, 2016 (5:44 pm)

Do give them a try. I actually used a teeny-tiny spice spoon to make these tiny balls.
