Do you love Quick Snacks or munching on those healthy snacks?

Then my 2 Minutes Energy Trail Mix Recipe will become your new favorite! It’s packed with nutrients, flavors and is easy to carry anywhere.

As I’d mentioned in my earlier posts as well, we all are BIG time snackers at home and I’m constantly making or improving my snack recipes with healthier options.

We recently came across these ZonePerfectยฎ Nutrition Bars in Walmart (Available in the Sports/Diet Aisle closer to the pharmacy).

They are perfect for a high energy lifestyle and serve as a healthy snack option – which is exactly what I’m always looking.

The best part, they came in a variety of flavors like ‘chocolate chip cookie dough/fudge graham/chocolate peanut butter/cinnamon roll / much more.

I brought the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough & Fudge Graham Cracker flavored bars and by the time we reached home, we had already devoured 3 bars between 2 people…

They were absolutely delicious, filled with proteins (no less than 10gms) and also a good source of fiber.

I decided to add them to my 2 Minutes Energy Trail Mix Recipe as an ingredient, which can be enjoyed at home.

But also makes an excellent takeaway snack for everyday schedule be it work/school/gym /dance practices, baseball games or just a simple munch (without the guilt).

I’ve even saved some in snack size ziplock bags for my shopping expedition too (yes, all that excitement makes me super hungry … I hope I’m not the only one looking for food while shopping).

The recipe is pretty simple, you just need to chop the bars into bite-size and mixed with granola, nuts, chia seeds, flax, and cinnamon (customize as per your taste) and you’re ready with a high energy snack.

These days, they are my favorite with my cuppa joe around 2-3 pm, that’s when I really crave something sweet-salty…maybe little chocolatey too!

The bars do come in interesting flavours, far more imaginative than what we can get in Australia. Cool way of using them in a trail mix.
